My name is Shea (pronounced Shay), and I am just a girl from California trying to live the creative life I’ve always dreamed of having.
Since before I could even talk, art has always been my main focus in one way or another. Throughout my adolescence, I pursued art in many mediums including drawing, painting, charcoal, pastels, watercolors, graphic design, ceramics, and more.
After graduating from high school, I launched Shoes by Shea while pursuing my college education. I designed and painted hundreds of custom shoes over the course of five years. Some clients that I am particularly proud of include Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, the members of The Devil Wears Prada, Dangerkids, Pierce the Veil, and more.
After graduating with a BFA from Seattle University and dealing with some health problems that resulted in three hip surgeries, I have shifted my focus artistically to pursue my art in its’ truest form.
After being introduced to stained glass by my partner, who themselves is an amazingly talented glassblower, I completely fell in love. Today on sheanicoleroberts.com, I share with you my paintings, stained glass, photography, and videography. Each of my mediums is obviously extremely different, but I find that they find their own ways to connect and overlap with each other.

My art, no matter what medium, is inspired by the magic of the world and universe around us.
The infinity of space, the mystique of the deep ocean, the playfulness in colorful songbirds, the way your favorite song makes you feel, the memory of a loved one. I love working with clients and other artists to create the most special pieces.
Outside of art, I adore music and the outdoors, which also greatly inspire my work. Artists like David Bowie, Blink-182, Tame Impala, My Chemical Romance, Grimes, and M83, just to name a few, are some of the musicians that I love so dearly. I love to hike, explore, and off-road whenever possible. I feel at home in the deserts of California, but I crave discovering new places constantly.
